About the Project
Project IOGGA 2nd Edition – Inside Out: Growing Gender Awareness is an initiative aimed at promoting gender equality and increasing gender awareness among youth workers, youth leaders, teachers, and other social actors in Europe and third countries. The project focuses on creating optimal conditions for mutual understanding, analyzing gender equality at local and European levels, enhancing reflection capacity, increasing psychological sensitivity, and fostering a deeper understanding of educational consequences.
Objectives
Mutual Understanding: Create optimal conditions for mutual understanding.
Analysis: Analyze gender equality in local communities compared to the European level.
Reflection: Enhance participants’ capacity for reflection in their social environments.
Sensitivity: Increase sensitivity in the psychological aspect of gender awareness.
Personal Stories: Encourage participants to reflect on personal stories and stereotypes.
Educational Insights: Provide educational insights and practical tools using non-formal education methods.
Interventions: Set the groundwork for better interventions at local and international levels.
Erasmus+ Programs: Equip participants with tools to design gender-equality-related Erasmus+ programs.
International Cooperation: Foster increased international cooperation, networking, and advocacy.
These objectives contribute to the overarching goal of reducing gender stereotypes and promoting gender equality in alignment with EU values and objectives.
