Youth and Local Authorities together for Climate and Gender Justice!

A projekt célja, hogy
– növeljük a fiatalok részvételét helyi kezdeményezésekben, amelyek a klíma- és ökológiai válság kihívásaira keresik a válaszokat, az önkormányzatokkal és helyi civil szervezetekkel, csoportokkal együttműködésben.
– segítsük a fiatalokat egyéni felelősségük erősítésében, és abban, hogy előmozdítsák a közös(ségi) – társadalmi felelősséget, kiemelten az éghajlati és nemi igazságosság témáival összefüggeségben

Expected results:

A fiatalok

Through their participation in the program, the young people gained an understanding of the global and local interconnections of the climate and ecological crises;
kritikai gondolkodása és megértése fejlődik a témában;
az önkormányzattal és helyi szervezetekkel karöltve, aktivitásokat szerveznek a klíma-és ökológiai válság felismerésére és visszaszorítására, illetve társadalmi tudatosítása érdekében.

Planned activities:

Development of educational materials for teachers, trainers, and youth workers
Training for teachers, trainers, and youth workers
Implementing awareness-raising programs among young people in formal and non-formal education (reaching schools, volunteer organizations, and youth organizations)
Az önkormányzat képviselőinek nemzetközi találkozója (3 alkalom: Magyarországon, Ausztriában, Horvátországban), jó példák megosztása
Organizing Ecopolis Labs with the participation of students, young volunteers, and local government representatives (implementing local initiatives to raise awareness of and mitigate the ecological crisis)
Organizing community events
2 international study trips for young people (2 young people per trip) – Madagascar, Mozambique
Local camps for young people (2nd and 3rd years)
Call for Proposals: Support for local initiatives by young people (with a focus on volunteers) addressing the climate and ecological crisis (4 initiatives – €5,000 – €5,000)
Awareness-raising communication campaigns involving young people
